Day 1

Arrive Phnom Penh

  • • Arrival at Phnom Penh, Techo International Airport
  • • Meet and greeted by our English-speaking tour guide and transfer to the hotel in Phnom Penh city
  • • Enjoy the nightlife at Walk Street in your own style, a food paradise where you can taste a variety of Khmer dishes and eat like a local.

Phnom Penh City Tour

  • • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
  • • Start to visit Wat Phnom Daun Penh where it is a Buddhist temple pagoda that symbolizes the name of Phnom Penh. Standing 27 meters high on a man-made hill, Wat Phnom is the most significant temple in Phnom Penh.
  • • Photo stop at Independence Monument was built in 1958 to memorialize Cambodia's independence from France in 1953.
  • • Go to visit The Royal Palace of Cambodia, is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the King of Cambodia.
  • • Visit The Throne Hall and Silver Pagoda are the must-see highlights of the complex. The Silver Pagoda, officially known as Preah Vihear Preah Keo Morakot (Temple of the Emerald Crystal Buddha), is a royal temple that houses a priceless collection of Buddha statues and historical artifacts, including the famous Emerald Buddha and the floor is covered with more than 5,000 silver tiles.
  • • Visit the National Museum, Cambodia’s largest museum of cultural history and is the country’s leading historical and archaeological museum.
  • • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
  • • Visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a museum chronicling the Cambodian genocide, former secondary school used as Security Prison 21 (S21) by the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 until its fall in 1979.
  • • Visit the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, 15km from Phnom Penh city, which was once an orchard and a Chinese graveyard. It was used by the Khmer Rouge regime as an execution ground to put down thousands of people in mass graves between 1975 and 1979.
  • • Have dinner and then transfer to the hotel
  • • Note: You must dress appropriately when visiting the Royal Palace. Pants or skirts should cover your knees, and shirts must cover your shoulders – no sleeveless tops or singlets are allowed.

Phnom Penh – Oudong Mountain

  • • Start to visit Oudong Mountain, the former Royal Capital from the 17th to 19th centuries, located about 45 kilometers from Phnom Penh. The hill is home to ancient stupas, sacred relics, and offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, making it both a spiritual site and a scenic retreat.
  • • Enjoy lunch at Oudong mountain, tasting a variety of local foods from the food stalls.
  • • Visit Central Market (Psar Thmey), a unique Art Deco building constructed in 1937. Inside, you’ll find a vast array of goods sold at bargain prices, from fresh produce to jewelry and souvenirs. As an alternative, you can explore Tuol Tum Poung Market, also known as the Russian Market due to its popularity with Russian expats in the 1980s. This bustling market is ideal for tourists looking for local handicrafts, clothing, antiques, and art.
  • • Visit Diamond Island and make a photo stop at The Elysée Building, a striking architectural landmark in Phnom Penh.
  • • Continue to enjoy a sunset cruise at the confluence of the mighty Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Bassac rivers, right in front of the Royal Palace, for a breathtaking perspective of Phnom Penh’s capital skyline.
