Cambodia V-Pass

Starting from July 1, 2025, Cambodia has introduced a V-Pass (Visitor Pass) for all international travelers. This digital pass replaces the traditional passport stamp you used to receive upon arrival. After you go through immigration at the airport or seaport, you will receive your V-Pass by email or through the Cambodia e-Arrival app or website. The V-Pass is your official record of entry and exit and should be saved on your phone or printed in case you are asked to show it during your stay.

  • Note: You will still need to complete the e-Arrival form online before your trip.

    HOW TO USE YOUR V-PASS

    Entering the Country
    • Present your passport at immigration.
    • The immigration officer will process your entry.
    • Instead of receiving a physical stamp, you will receive a v-Pass via email.
    • Keep this v-Pass accessible during your stay.

    During Your Stay
    • You may be asked to show your v-Pass for verification purposes.
    • You can display it on your mobile device or print it out.
    • Always respect the duration of stay indicated on your v-Pass.

    Departing the Country
    • Present your passport at departure immigration.
    • Your departure will be recorded in the system.
    • No physical exit stamp is needed.

CURRENCY & EXCHANGE

In Cambodia, both US Dollars (USD) and Khmer Riel (KHR) are widely accepted. Most prices in tourist areas are listed in USD, with small change given in KHR for amounts under $1.

There's no need to exchange money before arrival if you\'re bringing US Dollars, but make sure your bills are clean and not torn, as damaged notes may not be accepted. Coins are not used in Cambodia, only paper bills.
